Ingredients:
1 cup Peanuts (dry roasted)
1/2 cup Coconut (grated)
4-5 Green Chilli
3 Garlic pods
1 piece Ginger
3-4 sprigs of Cilantro
1 Tamarind (half-lime size)
Salt
Water
Tadka:
1/2tsp Mustard seeds
1/2tsp Urad dal
1/2tsp Cumin seeds
3 dry red chillies (broken)
5-6 Curry leaves
1 pinch Asafoetida
Oil
How to:
- In a blender or mixer, grind peanuts through tamarind along with salt and water.
- Now heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and urad dal.
- When mustard seeds crackle, add cumin seeds.
- Now add red chilli and asafoetida and fry.
- Finally add curry leaves and pour the tadka into the ground mixture.
Serve with idly or dosa.
